Valar recently released pre-patch notes. Now I’m going to cut to the chase, it’s a long dull read. So I’m going to attempt to do a short analysis on this Harry Potter Novel size of a patch note.
Essentially 100 different character attributes have been added, such as burn damage, crushing blow, cold damage, and etc.
The biggest announcement in this patch note is the switch from combat abilities from fixed static numbers to percentages. This is a huge change and totally shifts the original direction of the project. This pulls into question how itemization will be handled in Valar since abilities now require a percentage of resources instead of fixed amounts.
